Call for nominations: “Life-long Contribution Award”

IPA Award Program” has been approved by the Board of Directors Meeting on 22 June 2018.

The IPA Awards are categorized in the following five awards:

1)    Outstanding project award
2)    Innovative technology award
3)    Distinguished research award
4)    Life-long contribution award
5)    The ICPE best paper award

The First International Conference on Press-in Engineering 2018, Kochi” (ICPE2018) will be held on 19th and 20th September 2018 and grant awards on 4) Life-long contribution and 5) The IPCE best paper are scheduled to be presented in ICPE2018.

The Organizing Committee of ICPE2018 and the Award Committee is jointly working on 5) The IPCE best paper award based on submitted papers for ICPE2018.
IPA hereby announces to IPA individual members and Corporate members to nominate eligible persons for 4) Life-long contribution award as follows.

Submission:        address to IPA Award
Nomination material:     Nomination material should include a curriculum vitae of the nominee, reasons for nomination and nomination form. (Download nomination form here)

Total volume of the materials is limited to 25 pages in A4 paper size and they should be prepared in English using Century 11 or Times New Roman 11 font.

4. Life-long contribution to Press-in EngineeringIPA recognizes and honors individuals who have made great contributions to the advancement of the press-in engineering for a long period of time. Contributions may be through scientific research, planning, design, construction, development of machinery and materials, development of innovative application of embedded structures, and leadership in IPA activities.

Awardee: Individual(s)
Individuals with a long-time contribution to various aspects of Press-in Engineering.
The nominee can be in an active position, retired or posthumous.

Award Information:
The Award will be presented at the triennial ICPE (International Conference on Press-in Engineering) by the IPA President.
