Overview on the Press-in Piling Technology
“The Press-in Method” is a unique technique of pressing piles/sheet piles into the ground, using static load. It is so designed that the reaction force to press piles with static load can be achieved from the extraction resistance of already installed piles. Pressing with static load can minimize noise and vibration.

These gripping and self-walking mechanisms enable the jacking/pressing machines to work under difficult working conditions, such as narrow access space, limited overhead room, on slopes and water, without temporary platforms. Additionally, augering and rotary jacking-in system have also been developed recently, enabling the Press-in method to install pile/sheet piles into adverse ground conditions, even through cobbles, boulders, buried obstructions and rocks.
