Awards
The IPA Awards recognize outstanding achievements that advance the field of press-in engineering worldwide.
The Awards Program aims to promote excellence in research, technology, projects and professional contributions while encouraging knowledge sharing and international collaboration.
The IPA offers the following six award programs to recognize excellence in research, technology, projects, and professional achievement related to press-in engineering. Further details for each award category are available on the dedicated IPA award webpages below:
- Outstanding Project Award – Recognizing exemplary press-in engineering projects
- Innovative Technology Award – Recognizing innovative technologies advancing press-in engineering
- Distinguished Research Award – Recognizing impactful academic and applied research
- Life-long Contribution Award – Honoring individuals with outstanding long-term contributions
- The ICPE Best Paper Award – Recognizing exceptional ICPE papers
- Early Career Engineer Award – Supporting and recognizing emerging professionals
The IPA Awards Call for Submissions is now open.
Award recipients will be recognized at ICPE2027 (the 4th International Conference on Press-in Engineering), to be held in the Netherlands from 2 to 4 June 2027.
- Call for Submissions Opens: 30 July 2026
- Submission Deadline: 15 January 2027
- Award Ceremony: During ICPE2027 (expected on 2 or 3 June 2027 in the Netherlands).
To submit a nomination, please follow the steps below:
- Step 1 – Select the appropriate award category.
- Step 2 – Download the nomination form.
- Step 3 – Prepare supporting materials.
- Step 4 – Submit the nomination to the IPA Awards Committee

The International Press-in Association (IPA) collects and processes personal information submitted as part of IPA Awards applications and nominations solely for the administration and evaluation of the Awards Program.
Access to nomination and application materials will be limited to individuals authorized by IPA for the administration and evaluation of the IPA Awards.
