5th ASRTC6 Urban Engineering Symposium
 

The Chinese Taipei Geotechnical Society (CTGS) is cordially inviting everyone to attend the 5th AsRTC6 Urban Engineering Symposium, which will be held on 23-24 October 2025 in Taipei, Taiwan. Themes of the symposium include deep excavation and tunneling in the urban area, Reuse of foundation or basement for urban regeneration, application of artificial intelligence, ground improvement and special investigation method for deep excavation and tunneling and history of incidents caused by deep excavation and tunneling. The symposium will consist of whole-day technical program on 23 October 2025, and half- day technical tour to the project site of the National Biotechnical Park in Nangnang, Taipei on 24 October 2025. Keynote speakers for the technical Program include Prof. Jamie Standing of the Imperial College London, and Prof. Mitsutaka Sugimoto of Nagaoka University of Technology.
A whole-day short-course focusing on Innovative Geomaterials and Group Improvement, Advanced Applications of Numerical Simulation, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence, and Current Developments in Monitoring, Instrumentation, and Construction and Methods will precede the conference on the 22 October 2025.

The AsRTC6 Symposium was hosted previously in Fukuoka, Japan (2015), Changsha, China (2017), Taipei, Taiwan (2019) and Bandung, Indonesia (2023).

SEAGC/AGSSEAC2026: 22nd Southeast Asian Geotechnical & 5th Association of Geotechnical Societies in Southeast Asia Conference


The Philippine Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical is cordially inviting everyone to attend the 22nd Southeast Asian Geotechnical Conference and 5th Association of Geotechnical Societies in Southeast Asia Conference, which will be held in Manila, Philippine on 28-30 January 2026. The theme of the conference is “Advancing Geotechnics for a Resilient and Sustainable Future: Mitigating Geohazards in a Changing Climate”. The conference will consist of a two-day technical program from 29-29 January 2026, followed by a half-day technical tour within Metro Manila.

Geotechnical professionals from both the region and other parts of the world will have a special opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and foster stronger networks and friendships.
