In compliance with the security guidelines set forth by the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry of Japan, the International Press-in Association (IPA) has implemented EMV 3D Secure (hereinafter referred to as “3D Secure 2.0”) as of March 27, 2025.
 
What is 3D Secure 2.0?
3D Secure 2.0 is an authentication service designed to prevent unauthorized use of credit cards. It enhances security by requiring additional authentication, such as a one-time password, in addition to credit card information when making online payments.
 
Important Information Regarding 3D Secure 2.0
Following the implementation of 3D Secure 2.0, you will be required to register your credit card for this service in advance when making payments on our website, including annual membership fees, event participation fees, or publication purchases.
