About 3D secure

3D Secure 2.0 is an authentication service designed to prevent unauthorized use of credit cards. It enhances security by requiring additional authentication, such as a one-time password, in addition to credit card information when making online payments.
To use credit card payments on this website, prior registration of your card with "3D Secure 2.0" is required. For details on how to register, please contact the issuer listed on the back of your card.

 

STEP1. Enter Card Information:
   Input your credit card details on the payment page.

STEP2. Risk-Based Authentication by Card Issuers:
   The card issuer assesses the transaction risk level. If the risk is low, Step 3 may be skipped.

STEP3. 3D Secure Authentication (if flagged as high risk):
   If deemed high risk, the card issuer initiates 3D Secure authentication.

STEP4. Transaction Server Validation:
   The transaction server evaluates the authentication results.

STEP5. Execute Card Payment:
   The payment is processed based on the validation results.

STEP6. Payment Completion:
   The transaction is successfully completed.

Additionally, the authentication services provided by each credit card brand verify the user’s identity by a one-time password or code issued each time they make a credit card payment, preventing unauthorised use by third parties.
