We are pleased to present this issue of the IPA Newsletter, dedicated to the theme “Sustainable Foundation Engineering: Advances in Modelling and Soil Solutions”. At the outset, we are reminded on ICPE2027, a landmark event in press-in engineering that continues to shape innovation and professional exchange within our field. From research on soft soil treatment for high-speed railways in Vietnam to innovative assessments of laminated soil systems, the contributions featured here reflect both technical excellence and a shared commitment to advancing sustainable infrastructure. This issue also highlights the dynamic exchange of knowledge across regions—through conferences, workshops, and reports from our global offices—underscoring the importance of international cooperation in addressing today’s engineering challenges. The voices our of young members, exploring sustainable solutions with municipal solid waste incinerator bottom ash, further inspire confidence in the future of our profession.
